The science of hurricanes

  • Rain is a blessing for the living creatures of the earth but becomes destructive when it becomes a hurricane.  The heat of the sun does not fall uniformly on the earth.  The surface of the vast ocean gets warmer somewhere less and somewhere warmer.
  •  As the hot air is thin and light, it goes to the sky, but instead the cold air is quickly absorbed.  The ebb and flow of the wind blows and the sea water evaporates.  Hurricanes form when this process is fast and tremendous.  Due to the wind it moves towards the shore.
  •  Heavy rains and strong winds with thunderstorms in the hurricane cause many trees and houses to collapse and strong winds cause many trees and houses to collapse and damage families.  There are also some interesting things to know about hurricanes.
  •  1. Most hurricanes occur in the United States.  Central America is called Tornado Alley, where 1,200 hurricanes, large and small, form every year.
  •  2. When the wind speed is about 20 kilometers per hour, it is called depression.  When the speed increases to 100 kmph, it is called a hurricane.
  •  3. Hurricanes have the power of 10 atomic bombs.
  •  4. Hurricanes are named after men and women.  This practice  Started in 1800 by Australian meteorologist C. Reg.
  •  5 .The magnitude of a hurricane is the Sapphire Simpson Hurricane Scale.  Categories range from one to five.  The fifth category hurricane has a wind speed of more than 30 kmph.
  • 6. More hurricanes usually occur in the period from June to November.
  •    7. Hurricanes have a diameter of 200 to 300 kilometers.
  •  8. AD  The most devastating hurricanes since 2000 are Isabel, Evan, Emily, Katrina, Rita, Wilma, and Felix.
  •  9. There are more hurricanes in the Southern Hemisphere than in the Northern Hemisphere.
